The Legislature is considering cuts of $7.2 Billion from Public Education this year and $9 Billion more next year. What this means for us in New Haven:
Currently our state ranks 47th out of 50 in per pupil spending, and this proposed 16 Billion Dollar cuts would place us even lower!
