Description of Activities:
STATION 1: Bubble Station – How large of a bubble can you make
STATION 2: Face painting – students can get their face painted
STATION 3: Spin Art – make your own designs on the spin art machine
STATION 4: Sidewalk chalk – draw your favorite design on the school grounds
STATION 5: Henna Painting – have henna applied to your hand
STATION 6: Dual lane Slide – Climb up slide and see who is the fastest going down!
STATION 7: Obstacle Course – Try to get from one end of the big blow up obstacle course to the other side as fast as you can.
STATION 8: Twister – The game that ties you up in knots! Spin the dial, then move hands or feet from one colored circle to another.
STATION 9: Tricycle Races – See who is the fastest tricycle racer
STATION 10: T-ball extreme – See if you can hit a home run
STATION 11: Tug-a-war – get your team together to and see which team is the strongest
STATION 12: Coconut bowling – Roll coconuts to know over pins
STATION 13: Melon Lifting – count lifts using melon dumbbells
STATION 14: Carrot Hop – race holding a carrot under chin
STATION 15: Potato Sack Races - hop in a sack to the finish line
STATION 16: Apple Toss – toss apples into an apple shaped target
STATION 17: Pepper Throw – hit peppers with targets
STATION 18: 5-in-a-row-throw – toss fruit and vegetables balls into a tic-tac-toe board to get 5 in a row
STATION 19: 5-A-Day Prize Wheel – spin a wheel and answer a fruit or veggie question
STATION 20: Bugs on a log or veggie bling snack – learn to prepare a healthy snack that can be made at home
NOTE: Activities 12-20 are part of the Nutrition Olympics. At each event, they are rewarded with a hand stamp. For every 5 hand stamps they receive, they get to have a fruit or veggie temporary tattoo of their choice.
